Projects
The Regional Officers met at the end of May, to beginning planning out our goals for the Region. We have come up with 3 goals that we think could and will benefit the region.
Goal #1:
To provide support for our chapters by working with them to create the 1st New England Region Chapter Resource Manual and start a sister chapter initiative.
Your chapter will soon be contacted by one of the Regional hoping that you will be willing to share in your chapters success story. We will be looking for any procedures, lists or tactics used in achieving your successes. If you have any of that information and would like to share, please feel free to e-mail your Vice President or me.
We understand that International Headquarters provides a Chapter Resource Manual, but we as Regional Officers feel that we could add to that and make it more personal to the chapters within the Region. We hope that once this is created, it will be added to each and every year. Our is that it will available to every chapter in electronic format on our website.
Goal #2:
Create a Regional Honors in Action Project based on the needs of our chapters communities.
Again when a Regional Officers contacts your Chapter, they will be asking what your community may be in need in reference to Operation Green: Improving our Communities. We hope that you will be very candid with each officer. This will be the only way that your Regional Officers can create a Regional Project that will have an effect on each and every chapter.
Goal #3:
Continue to raise money for the Hites Foundation. Every dollar will be matched my $2 by the Hites Foundation.
We will use the Chico Bags to continue raising those funds along with other fundraising methods. If you have interested in purchasing some of these Chico Bags, $5/bag, please contact your Regional V.P or use the Chico Bag Order Form.
