Beta Delta Upsilon Member Receives Special Recognition

Maureen McCormick Boulier, a member of the Beta Delta Upsilon chapter at Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield, Maine, earned special recognition at KVCC’s May 17th commencement at the Augusta Civic Center as the oldest student to receive an Associate’s degree in Nursing from the college.

While at KVCC, Boulier did clinical work at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta and Waterville, the Sebasticook Valley Health Care Facility in Pittsfield, River Valley Home Care in Fairfield, and the Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospital near Augusta. As a newly registered nurse, she will begin work at Togus in July.

Congratulations to Maureen and all of our other non-traditional students who are achieving their dreams!
