At the Hallmark Awards Dinner at the 22nd New England Regional Convention this weekend at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, the Alpha Upsilon Alpha chapter from Manchester (CT) Community College was named the region’s Most Distinguished Chapter. The Spirit Award was given to SMCC’s Alpha Chi Nu chapter. Dr. Ronald L. Shertz from the Community College of Rhode Island (Pi Omicron) and Dr. Barbara Douglass from Northwestern Connecticut Community College (Alpha Nu Epsilon) received Administrator Leadership Awards.
