The Board of Directors of the New England College Council awards three scholarships of $750 each academic year to students attending one of its member institutions, which includes most of the two-year colleges in New England.
To be eligible, students must 1) have completed 30 credits toward their first Associate’s degree by the end of the spring semester, 2) be returning to their current college for the fall semester, and 3) plan to graduate with an Associate’s degree no later than May 2009. Students must submit an application that includes their reasons for attending college, reasons for selecting their major, reasons why scholarship assistance is necessary, a list of cocurricular and volunteer activities, and a description of their goals for the future. A copy of their college transcript and a letter of recommendation are also required.
All materials should be submitted by April 15 to:
