Chapters planning on nominating college presidents or campus CEOs for either the Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction or the Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Award must have their Administrator Hallmarks received by International Headquarters by 4:00 p.m. CST.
The Gordon Award and the Bennett Award recognize outstanding commitment to Phi Theta Kappa by a) helping build a solid foundation for their college’s chapter, b) developing scholarship opportunities, c) funding chapter operations or events, d) supporting Phi Theta Kappa programs, and/or e) increasing visibility and understanding of the organization.
